As an event photographer, I am fortunate enough to experience and spectate companionship in the way of friends looking after one another at parties. Everyone has experienced that moment on the dance floor where they might feel alone for a split second but then they see their best friend and everything feels safe again. This is no more obvious to me than whilst watching young female friendships and the unspoken intimacy in taking care of one another. For me this is company.
