The Good Grief Festival of love and loss

Good Grief Festival is a virtual festival of ‘love and loss.’ This festival first started in October 2020 with the aim to normalise talks around death and grief. Good Grief Festival want people to feel supported in their darkest hours and know that grief is a natural part of life that shouldn’t be locked away.

Every year the festival hosts a jam packed programme of different events that consist of stories, insight and healing through talks, webinars, interviews and workshops. Since 2020, they have hosted 150 free events which have been attended by over 250,000 people. Good Grief events are now taking place more regularly with mini-festival days spread over the year which you can find out more about here

If you cannot attend the festival or the mini events, Good Grief have also started a YouTube channel here where you are able to watch videos or recordings of the festival on demand. On their website, they also have a journal section with the latest news within the grief sector, shared stories, what’s on currently and more so you are able to feel a part of the festival and community all year round.

Good Grief Festival is a great community that provides educational insight into bereavement and aims to help everyone feel less alone. This could be useful for anyone who wants  to be part of a community surrounding loss.
